Posted by in SportA scan has revealed that Celtic player Scott Brown will require surgery on his ankle, following an injury in August.
The midfielder hurt his right ankle whilst playing for Scotland on international duty, and had to leave the pitch during Celtic’s loss to Rangers in September.
The captain has missed the last four matches, and is now expected to be out for 8 – 10 weeks as he will require minor ankle surgery after scans revealed the injury was more serious than it was thought. He is expected to return to play in December.
